Warwick Manufacturing Group
WMG is a dynamic, multinational group of researchers, engineers, technicians, business specialists, educators and project staff, based at the University of Warwick - voted The Times and Sunday Times University of the Year 2014-2015. As one of the largest academic departments at the University, we are able to make a real impact on industry through collaborative R&D and top class education.
Automotive Composites Research Centre
The ACRC works directly with industry to develop and implement high volume thermoplastic and thermoset composite manufacturing processes for automotive applications. A dedicated facility within WMG's International Manufacturing Centre, it provides industrial partners with access to state-of the art, industrial scale composite processing equipment and expertise to carry out process development, simulation, and demonstrations.
WMG's work in carbon fibre composite lightweighting forms part of the national High Value Manufacturing Catapult programme, through which we work with partners to develop, refine and validate new solutions and introduce them into design and manufacturing processes.
We are quite different to many academic departments and have rightly earned a reputation for innovation and doing things differently. Our team at the ACRC is growing and we are now seeking talented, enthusiastic and ambitious individuals for three key roles within the team.
